Educated political action is what LWVGY is all about. Whether
it's providing the annual Mahoning County Voter Information Guide,
monitoring elections, studying issues such as education funding
or riverboat casino gambling, or presenting candidate forums,
the League of Women Voters is there. First to study and then
to take informed action.
Through our study we try to make complex issues understandable.
Then, armed with the knowledge of issues, we work for change.
The League is nonpartisan: it neither supports nor opposes any
political party or candidate. Join us. Make Youngstown and America
work better. Membership is open to everyone.
Any citizen of voting age, male or female, may join the League
and a member of any local league is automatically a member of
the state and national leagues.
